Happy feast of the first apostles Peter and Paul!

In the plein air at Vysoko-Petrovsky monastery in Moscow. They have a patronal feast today in honor of the first-born apostles Peter and Paul.

It was wonderful to go to the refectory before the plein air, take hot tea with herbs, and then sit in the gallery and write in the rain and to the singing of the monks from the open windows at the vesper. And then the monks ran past me, jumping over puddles, to the table, wishing me good luck and a good day. It was great! And no one kicked me out, not like in the women's Nativity monastery, where they didn't even let me go to the sketches, so no one will perpetuate them. )))
