Abramtsevo sketches.

I'm working on a series of Abramtsevo sketches. Abramtsevo Museum-estate on the bank of the river Vorya attracts not only with its picturesque, but also with its rich history and contact with the place where Sergey Aksakov, Nikolai Gogol, Ivan Turgenev, Savva Mamontov, Ilya Repin, Victor and Appolinary Vasnetsovy, Vasily Polenov, Mikhail Vrubel, Mikhail Nesterov, Konstantin Korovin, Isaac Levitan lived and worked. It is hard to imagine where else there is a center of such historical creative cultural power of our ancestors, our Golden intelligentsia. It is a joy to create here and to touch our Russian roots.
